Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using AutoMaid’s services, website, and platform. By accessing or using any part of AutoMaid, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our platform or services.


1. Overview

AutoMaid (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides automated cleaning management services designed for short-term rental (STR) hosts and property managers. These services include scheduling, coordination, cleaning execution, and service add-ons.


2. Eligibility

To use AutoMaid, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Be legally able to enter into a binding agreement

  • Provide accurate and complete information when signing up


3. Service Scope

Our services include:

  • Automated scheduling of cleanings based on booking data

  • Cleaner assignment and communication

  • Smart lock access coordination (if integrated)

  • Completion checklists with optional photo verification

  • Add-on services such as laundry, restocking, welcome kits, and deep cleans

  • Email or SMS notifications related to scheduled services

We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove services at any time with prior notice.


4. Subscription & Payments

AutoMaid operates on a flat-rate monthly subscription model. By signing up:

  • You authorize recurring billing via your preferred payment method

  • Plan pricing is based on service frequency, unit size, and selected add-ons

  • Unused cleanings do not roll over to the next billing cycle

  • Additional cleanings outside your plan are billed at your discounted member rate

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours before scheduled clean) may incur a cancellation fee

You may cancel your plan at any time, but no refunds will be issued for unused cleanings within a billing period.


5. User Responsibilities

By using AutoMaid, you agree to:

  • Keep your booking calendar synced and up to date

  • Provide accurate property and access information

  • Maintain a safe, accessible, and respectful environment for cleaning staff

  • Notify us of any access issues, hazards, or unusual guest conditions

Failure to uphold these responsibilities may result in missed cleanings, fees, or termination of service.


6. Cleaner Access & Safety

If you enable smart lock integration or share property access codes, you consent to AutoMaid and its assigned cleaners using that access strictly for cleaning-related tasks.

Cleaners are independent contractors or vetted partners. While we take every measure to ensure safety and professionalism, you acknowledge that AutoMaid is not liable for third-party conduct beyond the scope of our reasonable control.


7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, and materials on the AutoMaid platform are the exclusive property of AutoMaid. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission.


8. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • AutoMaid is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days before the issue occurred

  • We are not responsible for service disruptions beyond our control (e.g., power outages, third-party integrations, weather events)


9. Termination

You may cancel your account or plan at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • Payment fails or remains unpaid beyond 7 days

  • Fraud, abuse, or harmful conduct is detected


10. Changes to These Terms

AutoMaid may revise these Terms at any time. If significant changes are made, we will notify you via email or platform notice. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
